Ok I had been driving my car short distances for around a 4 month period a mile to work every morning a mile home and a 30 mile round trip to school. Eventually this led to me flooding my engine during chirstmas because I didnt have the school interval involved. Anywho took it to the shop and they put hotter plugs in the car and performed an oil change. When I got home I noticed this noise comming from the area that the belts are its a noise like a metal chain or fence being pulled accross a road or something I called to make an appointment to get it checked out that was a little over a month ago. But the next day it didn't make the noise anymore so I didn't take it and it hasnt made the noise since. Untill today it started up again today it's not as loud as before. Anyone have a remote idea of what this is. It was very pronounced when I left to go to school today when I got home I could barely hear it. And I'd hate to drive 32 miles to the dealer and be told there is nothing wrong with it. This noise occurs even when the car is in park....
