It's mounted on the pass. side. Look at the crossmember, there should be two screws holding it on, as the back of the bracket is shaped like a tab that fits in a slot on the underside of the crossmember. The amp is not very big, and it's well hidden. Once the screws are removed the amp and bracket must be slid forward to free it. The two cords that plug in are also an adventure to get at and disconnect, as there is little play in the wiring and it's almost impossible to see what you're doing. Contortions required. There's a round cord with a locking tab and a rectangular connector with an unusual locking arrangement. Can't recall if that one is pulled out or to the side to unlock the connector.

I bought a donor amp a while back to get the connectors with the idea of keeping the stock wiring but putting in a better amp (an old Alpine). Grafted alpine inputs to donor plugs. But existing power lead is too small and I have not run a bigger lead from the engine room yet(PITA to get at the pass-thru). A better set of speakers did improve the sound back there, and the bigger amp sounded much better yet when I tested it. Not sure how I'm going to mount the amp when the time comes.
