Sounds good, but I would make an agreement with the dealer that if (it may) the light comes back on, (maybe within a year) for the same thing that you will have the $80 applied to fixing the problem, or getting another reset.
I had a similar occurance with mine. Light began to flash. I searched all around trying to find place to reset it...Ended up driving the 2hours to the dealer to get it reset. They told me that there was a power problem with the Airbag ECU and that I would need to have the entire dash and lower trim removed to have their tech look into it any further. Estimate- $800 w/o computer $2100 if the comuter had to be replaced. I told them that it was def accessable through the floor opening and why could they not do in through that way. They said that their procedue book would not allow it...LOL! I said no thank you, and that I would like to get a second opinion. They then said that there was no other way to fix it. I then told them that my procedure book said to leave...I was outta there. I walked out into the parking lot in the service area, pulled the speaker grate, and pulled the light bulb. I was then confronted with the service manager who was very angery at the time, and was telling that that I was not allowed to do that! It was illegal for them, and especially me to do it. I said, "Do not worry about it, I will not be comming back to this dealership ever in my life....and it is sure sad because I am a Saab lover for life." He gave me a smirk, and left. I drove the 2 hrs home, and wrote Saab USA a letter telling them of the attitude etc of the dealer. I recieved from the dealer 2 weeks later a coupon for an oil change, complete detail, and free saftey inspection! LOL.
I thought it was a nice offer, if they were not so upset when I decided to leave. I sent it back to them, with attn to the service manager. Told him that I would not be comming back to his dealership again, like i said before. That was it.
(SORRY to ramble)
Your case may be a surge or lack of power to the AB ECU or another fault. All I know is that I have always worn my seatbelt and will continue, the C900s Airbags are lil grimlins, and never belive what the dealer cons you into (or trys).
