assuming it isnt flooded to start with removing the cold start valve and squirting a little fuel in should make it fire a little..
if the cold start is working okay and u have no main pump pressure.. u should get a little engine cough every time u turn the key.. the cold start valve works without main pump pressure.. the main injectors dont..
if the fuel pump is going and the cold start valve is flooding things nothing will fire at all.. the more u crank the more flooding u will get.. disconnect it to prevent the flooding..
wet plugs mean flooding.. in this condition the engine will not fire..
i am currently running my car with the cold start valve disconnected because occasionally there is some flooding problems with it.. it runs okay without the thing.. it does something similar to what a little pump on the gas pedal used to do with carb fitted cars.. only u dont get to choose when u pump.. he he
