AC bracket, what years are supposed to be slotted

I'm taking the head off a 93 n/a. I'm at the point of the dreaded lower ACbracket bolt. I can get the wrench on it, but not a lot of power on the wrench. Before I break my knuckles cracking this bolt, I'm gonna try a 12mm flex-socket, with the universal built in to the socket, plus a set of mechanics gloves to ease the pain when the bolt breaks.
This bracket does not have a slot in it, but it will when it goes back in.
What years are supposed to be slotted?
Also alternator adjustment has a long bolt, instead of a stud with a nut.
I think previous owner messed with this engine
