Saabin,
I don't mean to barge in here, but I see AP didn't answer your question about the small vacuum hoses that lead off from the throttle body (TB).
The hose which seems to go from TB to cruise control pump doesn't: it leads instead to the ELCD (Evaporative Loss Control Device, a.k.a. charcoal canister). It's the black cylindrical coffee-can sized object with an electrical plug and two hoses going into it. The second hose leads to car's interior (routed over top headliner into trunk area) where it ends at the fuel tank. Why? Well, vapors from the fuel tank, instead of being vented to the atmosphere, are stored in the activated charcoal material (saved to be drawn into engine later for combustion, thus saving the environment excess hydrocarbon emissions).
It is a common thing to have a vacuum leak at the rubber connector which joins this plastic hose to ELCD nipple fitting.

Now, you were correct about the second hose leading off that fitting on the throttle body: it DOES go to the valve cover. Again, emissions is (are?) the reason. Crankcase vapors (oil, etc.) are drawn through the hose into the TB, and into engine to be burned more thoroughly.

Again, hope I didn't step on any toes here.

Best,
Micah in NC
