If you live in the area and drive a Saab, I can't recommend European Motors enough. I always took my 900T there, and when I totalled it earlier this year, I bought a '91 900S from them.
Started to get alot of valve noise about a week ago. But, I've been playing Mr Mom since I was laid off earlier this year, and as cold as it's been, I haven't been able to get out and troubleshoot under the hood by myself, because it's too cold to have my son outside.
Took it in to have them look at the valve tap. What was the rediculously stupid problem? 1 qt low on Oil.
A less reputable shop would have chrged me for bogus work and changed the oil. Not Chris and Phil. Phil changed the oil, counseled me on the fact that this engine will burn oil in the winter compared to my old 900T, and sent me on my way with the most minor of bills.
These guys are the greatest. If you live around here, they are by far the best mechanics for your Saab.
