Thanks, Justin. Don't know if this is apparent from my earlier post, but the voltage out of the O2 sens is less than .1 (one tenth) of a volt. It does seem to fluctuate a little. My '85 900T (same system) gives right around .5V.
Seems to me that in order to get a valid reading you need to make this check with the black wire (signal) connected. I have the 'Official' 16 valve SAAB book, and in one place it says disconnect the wire and check the voltage out of the sensor, in another it says to be sure to leave it connected. Seems that if you were to disconnect it, you'd throw the mixture off right away, which would give meaningless voltages. Agree?
