I routed wires from dash to trunk in my old 92 900T conv in the following way:
Pulled underdash console and between seat console.
Lift out rear seat - it just "snap fits in 900 conv.
Fished wire through center area and under carpet to rear seat area.
Ran wire to passenger side.
Convertible has gaping opening under interior roof dressing to trunk. A wire fish or stright coat hanger will help you find it.
Routed wire through this gap and to trunk.
Drilled hole through trunk false floor into "under trunk", and to my CD changer.
Took me all of about an hour, and you really couldn't notice wire running under carpet because I ran it aside the "hump" and up center of rear seat.
Not only did I run a four wire set for a changer, I ran a CB coax the same way down the other side of center console.
Bolted consoles back into place and noone was the wiser.
Good luck
