Is it time to sell my '95 900 SEturbo? Posted by Mike Lynch [Email] (#81) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Mike Lynch) on Mon, 10 Feb 2003 23:48:26 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I bought my 1995 SEturbo hatchback 3 and a half years ago with 35,000 miles on it. I got a great deal on the car (at least I think so). I now have 115,000 miles on it. I have given it very regular maintainence at a Saab/Porsch dealer. My problem is repairs. I have spent $1,500 on tires, $1,200 on airconditioning (needed here in Texas), $1,200 on a coolant leak in the engine, and now I'm told that that oil leak I have is really transmission fluid (I have a manual) which will require a completely new transmission (or I should probably replace it because it will be open) for another $2,000. I have spent more than $8,000 in repairs since I owned it (without the transmission). It feels like I have a lemon - but maybe this is normal. Any thoughts. Thanks.
