Heres what I did. Since the head unit I bought hade plenty of power on it's own, and when disconnecting the front cage, you disable the amp for the front speakers, I saw no need to use the Saab rear amp anyway. I cut the DIN plug off the front, then cut the DIN cord under the rear seat. It does not matter which wires you use, as long as you are consistant from front to rear. I used the the fattest wires of the bunch to run the speakers (including twisting up the copper mesh surrounding 2 very small wires, coaxial cables)
Other folks just run new wires to the rear from the dash. Townsend has wiring diagrams on his sight, but I don't think it identifies the individual DIN plug wires. You could probably figure it out by pulling the rear ump, but it is a real bitch to get at. By the way, if you just use the DIN wire, the rear plug into the amp has a small release button hidden on the bottom of the plug, which must be released before you can pull it out. I found it by accident
