Well, I am used to setting the timing on an'85T so I tried same method on '92T and THEN I find out that the system is adaptive and so you leave the distributor alone, but I have already changed the original setting w/o original setting marks, and now my starts are very weak and I have to use the gas pedal to get a weak idle of approx. 500 rpm. My idle was fine before and during adjustment of the timing. What the hell do I do now? If you R&R a distributor on a '92 and you don't have reference points, how do you know where to set it?.
