Sorry i got interrupted during the other post and did not get to read your previous answers.
The long crank even when warm points towards the fuel system. Does this happen mainly when low on fuel? If so might be the feed(primary) pump. Can cause both hard start and hesitation under power.
If when full too, your main pump might be getting tired, too. If the pump is noisy, that's another symptom.
I think your pump has an integral check valve, but a bad check valve can cause pressure leakdown. Check your Bentley on check valves for your year.
A leaky injector can cause the fuel system to lose pressure and cause a long crank and maybe contribute to your no start when really cold(gas leaks out and residual moisture freezes)...try a bottle of techron, worked right away on our 85 that was suffering from long crank times.
A clogged fuel filter can cause all sorts of problems and is worth periodic replacing, but doesn't seem to be temp related. Also not fun in cold under car with gas running down your arm.
