If it's just the dist oring or the valve cover gasket you are lucky.
If not lucky, you might have a leak from the junction of the corner of the head and the engine plate that is behind the flywheel. Use a mirror to see where this is from above. The proper way to fix this is to pull the clutch and flywheel, and then remove the endplate and put a new gasket/sealer on. A big job if the leak is small.
Plan B, that will slow the leak if not entirely stop, it is to externally seal the area with hi-temp RTV. You need to clean the area completely with brake cleaner spray and then work the RTV into the joint and over the leak area with your fingers. I think it is better to apply the RTV while working under the car and reaching up. Let dry over night while saying a few prayers.
