Putting H-motors (B201, B202) into a <1980 99 is not easy, and involves physically modifying the body of the 99 - either by welding or with a sledge hammer. Putting a 16v in an early 900 requires nothing special except enlarging a hole in the 900's body to accomodate the power steering hoses.
In my mind, there is very little reason to put a 16vT in a 99. The 99 is, on average, only a couple hundred (200-250) pounds lighter than an equivalent body style 900. Throwing on the heavier 16v motor and a turbo would eat up a lot of that weight advantage, and put that weight where you DON'T want it - in the nose.
