Well most of the fluid in my power steering pump finally leaked out and after I refilled it with some Havoline PS fluid the car seems to run better. I don't understand, but it seems peppier around town and in the morning before it's fully warmed up.
Could it be that the power steering fluid (never changed) I was pumping around had the viscosity of goo, increasing the parasitic load? Should I do some sort of flush business to the system?
