I know it's possible to check without doing this, but what I would do is unbelt and unbolt the A/C compressor and set it on top of the engine on a thick towel. Then you get a good shot of all the hoses on the back(towards front of car) of the pump and you can see the front of the pump. You can safely run the engine to see where the leak is coming from. Since you probably have a bad hose to the water pump, you might want to pull the compressor anyway.
The water pump weep hole is directly below the pulley shaft and the coolant leaks down the front of the engine. You don't normally get a stream of coolant here, just an annoying drip. If the pump really goes, coolant will gush out around a very loose shaft.
