It sounds like your car has some of the typical Saab problems...so find a Saab-savy mechanic. At the bottom of the page, click on the 'mechanics' button in the grey toolbar to find a mech in your area. And I'll bet there are quite a few guys here that would help you out....

The transmission problem might be fixed with a good servicing...fluid changes, filter cleaning, band adjustment. If you opt for a manual conversion, Ericksonns sell a rebuilt unit for $1300. Highly regarded here on this board. And what specificly is the problem?

Have the overheating problem fixed asap...it could lead to a blown head gasket which is expensive (and a common problem after 100,000 miles).

Blinker problem is most likely a bad ground in the taillight. I think the procedure is covered in the FAQ's...again, goto the grey toolbar at the bottom.

For other problems, try the FAQ's, the 'search' at the top, or post specific questions here. These saabers are a great bunch....

Value? Look in the classifieds. Most convertibles start at around $4000, so you're not doing too bad. Saabs are great cars, but they do need proper maintenance, and a knowledgeable mechanic to keep them affordable.
