Hi Randy,

I followed your instruction about testing the CSV. CSV sprays fuel, but don't stop after 5 or 10 seconds. Tried several times...

Where to found and check the relay and temp switch? Related to the CSV.

Collected today the gasket for the Rocker Cover - got a major breakdown after only 103 km since the head gasket was replaced for free/compensation at the Saab Workshop of Luxembourg.
Engine stopped/died at a traffic light and won't start again. A quick view under the bonnet - oil mixed with coolant seen at the oil dipstick. Even signs of oil in the coolant.

Now I know I can't trust the workshop. How easy/difficult to replace the head gasket DIY?
Saab is now recoverd to my garage, Saab Workshop Owner is a bit upset and told me that I'm not able to drive a Saab... He suggested buying a new Saab 9-3 or similar. With garantie and so on. Reliability. Fuel economic. More luxury. Stylish.

I can't afford buying a new car, renovating my old house. No money left for modern cars.

The rubber grommet on the top of the rocker cover has got a crack (where the vaccum hose is going into the rocker cover). Do you know the parts number? Or just glueing together with the plastic insert?

Will do all the work for getting the Green 900 GLs roadworthy in the afternoon, I need a car for Sunday! Hopefully the twin Carbs are more reliable than the fuel injection system of the 900i. But this car is manual, less comfort!

Any suggestions what to do with the 900i, 8V, 1982?

torben
