So I have maroon inside of my 1986 SPG. Redoing the inside in grey I decided to try redoing the interior sides with vinyl paint. Going great...test piece came out excellent...finished painting the whole driver side door and put new fabric on the insert. Looks great and clean and like new.
This past week...awesome weather...picked up 2 more cans of paint and started on the remaining 3 side pieces. Gf goes out for the afternoon, I paint away, sand a little, paint more. Finish the whole job and get inside out of the sun as I got a little burnt sitting there watching paint dry with my beer.
Gf comes back...says..."Why are some of them green?"
Me...the colourblind fool...bought aqua green pastel instead of grey and finished the whole job.
She laughed for hours...all I could say was "Fooking green!".
P.S. To top it off...they are out of grey and can't get it in yet so I have to WAIT! *sob*
