OK, let's sort this out. I thought you had already put in a new AMM, but with any luck that will do the trick. Flat spots and hesitation are typical symptoms, but IIRC, my engine has run lean when AMM goes bad.
The other thing I would check is the fuel pressure regulator, and you can do this before the AMM arrives. Make sure the vacuum line to it and connections are sound. There should be no fuel in this vacuum line and the FPR must hold a vacuum.
I forget if brand of dist rotor, plugs and wires was discussed. OEM rotor with 1000 ohms resistance between tip and center contact, ngk plugs, bougicord wires. I once had a new parts chain dist rotor cause hesitation that went away when i put the old OEM rotor back in.
Beyond that, who knows? Funky ground at fuel pump relay, bad ECU, crank sensor intermittent problem??? Don't give up, you'll get it fixed.
