shaft comes loose, and subsequently the drive mechanism from wiper motor cannot work the left wiper.
It is a little bit tricky to get the whole wiper assembly out of the car and push the gear back onto the wiper arm shaft, and secure the gear with a rool pin.
If you are not familiar with working on your car on a regular basis, you might want to leave this up to a Saab shop.
The standard rate is about 2 hours of labor to repair the wiper linkage, and no parts involved IF the bottom gear is still found in your car.
If the gear falls out and dissappear, you need another wiper gear assembly.
