End of the road? Saab 900 for parts options

Hi all, My trusty '91 900 (automatic, no turbo, 144k miles) seems to have meet its match. After two weeks of hesitation while driving and at idle it would not start after running an errand and was brought to my mechanic, where of course it started and would not repeat the non-start problem. After two days of running tests they gave it back and said the only permanent code was for the crankshaft position indicator, but many things could be causing the problem. Two days later I moved and am now in Jacksonville, FL where on my first day it would not start for 20 minutes (but finally did) and on the second day it died while idling at an intersection and would not restart for 2 hours. After a tow to a new mechanic it, of course, started for them, but later died and would not restart. They say the crankshaft position indicator is the only thing left that could be causing the non start after replacing one ignition system component and checking some others. To install the position indicator and labor would be over $500 (plus the $150+ work they have done to this point), which is about the value of my car, and they can't guarantee that will fix the problem.
So... I am leaning towards getting rid of the trusty SAAB, but it won't start to get it anywhere. Can anyone give my some contacts in Northern Florida who buy used Saabs for parts or to fix up? Thanks for any ideas or comments on my problem with possible solutions.
Thanks for any help,
Chris
