WIpers always on Posted by Rob [Email] (#1828) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Rob) on Mon, 5 May 2003 06:39:36 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Just pulled the '94 convertible from winter storage. Wipers started with key in run position. If I applied brake, they would stop after two or three cycles, but start after removing my foot. Switch at steering checks out, but there is 12V at the red wire here which is suppossed to feed the low speed. If I remove this wire from connector, high speed works normally but doesn't park, and low and intermittent do not work.
I'm guessing there is a problem with the park switch on the motor. Can anyone confirm? Is it possible to replace this part, or do I need to replace the complete motor?
Thanks for the help.
