As far as I can tell, I have no visual of any coolant leaks. There are two varibles here that I think it make sense, 1. water pump, 2. bad expansion cap. I will pull the plugs and see if any of them wet or clean which will indicate a bad/cracked cyl head. I will probably replace the water pump and the expansion tank cap. I have a feeling that the cyl head gasket is still good and the cyl head as well, because the motor still runs and idle perfect.
This would be my first time replacing the water pump my self therefore, I am a little lack of knowledge about the subject. What are some of the tricks or quick way of replacing the water pump? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciate it.
