1985 900 SPG 305K on the clock...
I discovered that MOST of the wiring harness in the engine bay of this car is in horrible condition, One harness running by the charcoal canister under the radiator area looked in good shape, HOWEVER, the harness that runs along top of the engine (powering injectors/amm, etc.) has major issues, the insulation on the wires is degraded to the point that when I unwrapped the black tape holding them together, much of it flaked off, some of the wires have breaks, its a wonder that this car even started. Anyhow, I removed this section of the harness, was a pretty simple job, my plan is to replace these wires with new, or finding a junked 900t and removing this ection of the harness &using it on mine, has anyone here accomplished anything like this? Anyone ever replaced portions of there harnesses with luck?
