The Throttle Position Switch (TPS) is attached to the throttle by two 7mm bolts. There's also a plug on top of the switch that you'll want to remove first. To loosen the bolts, I use a small 7mm socket on the end of a U-joint. To adjust the TPS you only have to loosen the bolts enough to allow rotation of the switch a little bit towards the front of the car or to the back of the car.

The switch tells the computer when the throttle is closed, so the first thing to do is make sure the throttle is completely closed. I would take off the air duct and take a look. The stop screw should be backed off as much as possible without the butterfly valve catching on the inside surface.

Once you have the throttle closed you need to twist the switch so that it clicks just as the throttle opens and just as it closes. The clicking is very audible. You might want to remove the dashpot to keep it out of your way while you're doing this. It's not necessary though.

The switch should also be tested to make sure it's working. There are three contacts sticking out of the top. The first and middle should have continuity when the switch clicks at closed throttle and the last and middle should have continuity at at 80 - 100% wide open throttle. Maybe I got that part reversed, but you'll figure it out.

Also, some people think the switch is supposed to click both at throttle closed and WOT. Only the throttle closed will cause the switch to "click." The click that you might hear at WOT is from the A/C cutoff switch that's activated by the bellcrank at WOT.
