Yes, you do have to remove at least the pilot shaft. Maybe the pressure plate, and slave cyl too. See Tom A's post below in the 'Going to attempt to do my own clutch' thread to remove c&pp without hydraulic pressure. It's possible there are two more engine-trans bolts behind the flywheel, but it may deoend on the year.
