That side was MINT, original paint. The egg took some paint off, some good sized chips. And its not so much that, but the priciple of the thing.
What is wrong with people???!!!!!
We are currently staging an investigation, my brother is in highschool, and its likely a highschool aged person did it. Soon enough I'm sure he will find out who. Then, I'd say maybe a 3-4 month waiting period (to blur the connection), then begin monthly, perhaps bi-monthly pranks on the criminal's vehicle. (I'm not heavy into revenge, this is all in good fun. And, it won't be sinking to their level, as their attack was unprovoked, and we'd have "reason").
I'd at least respect the criminal if he used some creativity. But, eggs? Way overplayed.
I have a nice idea of chaining the car to a nearby tree or pole, AND, leaving a great deal of slack, to the car gets up to some speed before the chain stops the car abrubtly. hehe.
Any other advice? (And save the "don't do anything" comments.....I've already considered that :))
I'm actually thinking the best retaliation would be maybe to contact the person's parents and have them pay for the door to be repainted.
