it's not for the faint hearted, and if your profession is contorsionist, you have a lead compared to regular people.
If you know for sure that the valve is stuck, I would start with removing oilpump.
From there you can get a glimpse of the valve and the holes in the piston (if jammed), if you don't see the holes in the piston, it's not jammed open.
If holes are visible you can use a sharp poker and try to move the piston.
Sometimes I have managed to disturb (got piston/debris loose) by this method and everything was fine again.
But make sure you don't create scratches in the piston with the sharp poker, and make the situation worse.
