I posted this last weekend, without response; as it was a holiday, perhaps everyone was busy with fun activities.
'87 900 180k, recently lost power to the circuit feeding the regular settings for the heater fan switch, which seems to include the lighting for several related controls and the ash tray receptacle. There is one hot wire behind the switch, I believe for the full blower air conditioning setting (not needed by me), so I have jumped to a position on the swich allowing for the activation of the blower and the capability to turn it completely off. I do have access to forced warm air for heating, but fully on. This is tolerable, but not needed at this time of year and unnecessarily noisey. Checked and swapped fuses with no success- any other logical explanations? Thank you.
