I'm a used car dealer (specializing in imports) and always have new and interesting cars to drive. I do this all of the time. I get something new and start driving it and start thinking "this is pretty nice." But it usually doesn't take long before it starts wearing off and all of a sudden I start growing weary of it. As an example, last winter we had a sport-ute and it was fun and novel for about a month. After two months I was tired of it and after three I hated it. We had a Subaru Outback around for about eight months and I liked for about six of them. We had an Escort and didn't put 50 miles on it the three months it took to dump it. We had a Volvo 850 for eight months and loved every minute of it. I do recall that the 9000 I traded my 900 Convertible in on seemed so nice and continued to do so for the seven years I owned it. But I just bought a 91 Convertible as my personal car and find I really enjoy the 900 experience again, so go figure. Saabs 900s are a unique driving car and I wouldn't be surprised if you find yoursself longing for it sooner than you think.
