Symptom 1: When I accelerate hard my temperature gauge bounces (typically down to bottom).
Symptom 2: When accelerating hard in lower gears (high boost/high rpm achieved quickly), I get stumbling and backfiring. If I "sneak up on it", I can get 18-20 psi boost at 6000 rpm. 4th and 5th gear acceleration is fine.
Could I have a problem with the hall sensor wire and the temp sensor wire (since they live in the same harness as I understand it)?
What else could be going on?
Car is a modified 92 900 Turbo
Thanks,
Chad92900T
Distributor is new, cap and rotor new, checked plugs, swapped plug wires form magnecores to bougicords, swapped ignition coils...
