Aftermarket radio instalation

First of all, thanks for all the help on whether or not I could easily install an aftermarket radio. However, here's the new problem, I would like to install the radio/Cd myself and Crutchfield's said they will send everything that is needed. But, I just pulled both the radio and the seperate Cd/equalizer out of the dash to look at the wires I was working with. MY GOD MAN!!! there's a crap load of wiring in there, the colors didn't seem to match the ALPINE wiring guide and for every DIN connector there must be five seperate wires.
Obviously I am not a PRO, not even close, but Crutchfield labels this install as "E-Z". Maybe it is not as bad as it looks!?!?
If anybody has the patients to give me a few pointers on what exactly I am to do with all these wires I would be greatly appreciative!
Also, the amp, I think I have located it under the rear drivers side seat, elongated black box(Audiovox)is this right?
Maybe it is worth the $60 buck to have it done, I just thought if it's easy enough I would rather gain the satisfaction of replacing the tunes myself.
Thanks in advance,
Tuneless Turbo
