For the stalling, I totally forgot about the turbo bypass valve that JohnK mentioned. One of the classic causes for a stalling Turbo on slowdown is that the diaphragm in the bypass valve gets a hole in it.
Like John says, find the vacuum hose that goes to it and see if it holds vacuum.
On the flush, I'd be hesitant to drive it for any distance at all - that stuff lowers the viscosity of the oil and suspends a lot of particulates that can score soft bearing material, etc. You may want to change the oil really soon. If the oil seals are original to the car, the flush can wash away the goo (highly technical term ;-) that keeps it from leaking. Synthetic may leak faster. I use M1 10W30 and have a few minor oil leaks.
John's right on about the key. Put WD40 or a light machine oil w/ graphite in to see if it loosens up the key action.
