Something's amiss here. All 4 injectors are electrically connected in the wiring harness to fire at the same time. They should all be either on or off together. I'd be suspicious at having been told this. They should all pulse together once per engine revolution. If the ECU doesn't get an RPM signal from the ignition amplifier, it won't open the injectors.
Do you have a way to get it to a mechanic who knows SAABs?
Using the Miss Cleo (or Karnak the Magnificent) method of remote diagnosis, and knowing that the car is an '89, I'd guess that the ECU is in the process of shuffling off this mortal coil. A similar thing happened to me in my '89 SPG.
It could also be a bad ignition amplifier (located on the spark coil in '89).
But, here is a link to Townsend Imports' page on No-start problems for LH 2.4 ECUs. This should be a good guide for the mechanic.
If you have access to an known good ECU from an '88 through '90 900S or an '89 through '90 900T, swap it in and see what happens. Changing the ECU on my '89 solved the problem.
