Just wanted to thank everyoen for their replies to my postings about a tranny question, just finally droped a tranny that I am going to put in my car, took me 9 hours total without all the needed tools, btu I got the job done finally. I did not even hang the engine or anytnign like that, I did it right on the street, i just jacked up the engine with the jack setting it against the frame.... anyhow, the biggest pain was to unscrew that just one little nut on top of the tranny in the back, that was real pain in the neck. I think the person who decided to put that nut there should be crusified. Well, tomorrow i have to drop my tranny and put everything back into place.
Quick question - how do gear ratios work? how do they relate to speed? my new gear ratio is goign to be 7, what speed is it going to be at 3000 rpms? anyone knows?
