The back has two 4x10 speakers which frankly suck. There are ways to get a 6x9 in the same spot, but not easily.

Very few brands make 4x10's. I bought the Kenwood KFC-415C and they're okay, much clearer than OEM. Loud enough with a good head unit or amp. I bought an Alpine CDA-7892 (50Wx4 amp) and don't really feel the need for more volume than that. Main issue is lack of good bass due to 4x10's. Add a small sub. It makes all the difference.

For the front, (and yes it's 4 inch rounds) make sure that the 2-way speakers you buy do not have "tweeter" centers that will protrude too high for the speaker grills. -not much room there.
