I plan to replace the exhaust downpipe on my 1986 900S NA this weekend. I have the new "Y" pipe and gaskets for both ends, as well as new bolts/washers/nuts for the connection at the triangle flange to the Cat.
My question is whether I am likely to need new nuts or other hardware for the two pipes on the upper/manifold end? I'd like to avoid problems due to not having the necessary hardware. Do those 4 Studs/Nuts typically come loose without a problem? Does anyone know the size/specs in the event its wise just to pick some up in advance?
Thanks,
Paul
