Preperation: Go to K-mart or Wal-Mart parking lot. Bring your wallet or purse, and a paper towel.

Numero Uno: Open da hood.

II: Gaze hopefully in the vicinity of the back of the headlight. You will see three wires heading up to the back of the headlight assembly, terminating in a white connector which plugs into the back of the headlight. CAREFULLY pull on the white connector until it is removed from the back of the headlight. Let go of it.

C. There is a black ring arount the connector that has pins sticking out that you just removed the white connector from. Turn that black ring, and it will come off. Don't lose it, or you will be cast into the lake of fire.

Numero Quatro. Carefully pull on the connector, removing it from the headlight assembly. You may now inspect it, look at the bulb, etc, etc...

Walk into the store and buy a replacement. IMPORTANT SAFETY TIP: DO NOT TOUCH THE NEW BULB!!!!!!!!!! DIS LITTLE BULB GETS VERY HOT. IF YOU TOUCH IT, YOUR FINGER PRINT WILL CAUSE A CONCENTRATION OF HEAT, AND THE BULB WILL BURN OUT PRE-MATURELY. GET DA PAPER TOWEL IF YOU NEED TO TOUCH THE GLASS TO HANDLE THE BULB.

Numero Cinco. Follow steps Quatro-C-II-Uno in reverse.

All kidding aside, it's pretty easy. If you are the careful type, like me, I would suggest replacing both bulbs. They are probably both the same age, and the working bulb is probably 95% done with it's life. replace it and put it in a ziploc and keep it as a spare.

Good Luck!

Ted

Why is abbreviation such a long word?
