Well, a new battery should be a good starting point. I would first remove the spark plugs and squirt some WD40 or light oil in the cylinders, then crank for a bit w/o no plugs to get the oil flowing, then replace plugs and restart for real (have gas mask ready..). Once warm, change the oil and filter, coolant (a coolant flush would be in order, IMHO) and then approach the issue of changing the brake fluid for new DOT4.
Once you get it on the road keep an eye on tire pressure, monitor brake wear and performance (w/ an eye to stuck calipers) and other fluid levels.
