you don't mix old fluid with the new. Another is that the fluid normally flows from the top. You should replace the fluid periodically as it absorbs moisture, dirt, etc. Normally I do this when I redo my brakes. I built a cheap pressure flush device using a replacement cap, a ball inflation needle, and a cheap foot pump from Wally World. Total cost was about $13. Buy the pum with the gauge on it. Your other problem may be in your clutch master cylinder and not in the slave. Good luck.
