i think your oil pressure is fine and I don't think another oil change will make any difference.
First, locate the noise with a "stethoscope" e.g. big screwdriver with the handle held against your ear and the tip touching the valve cover in various places to pin down the noise. If it is coming from near the firewall, there is a good chance that the noise is just the timing chain slapping against the damper pad/guide in the valve cover. The pads get hard and transmit noise. Easy and cheap fix.
You did not state what year your car was but earlier 16v cars(pre 87 or 88, not sure) had a plastic tube oil delivery setup under the valve cover. The o-rings can go bad and the oil doesn't get to the lifters. If this car is later or the oild tubes are OK, youmight have a stuck lifter or two. You might get lucky and free up the sticky lifters with a bottle of Marvel Mystery oil or a pint of dextron trans fluid added to your oil. Either works great to dissolve varnish/gunk that can lock up lifters. If that doesn't work, you can replace the bad lifters individually.
