So as I come out to my car to leave for work today, I see a 4" vertical line of paint on my 89 SPG. Under the paint is a 2" dent. It actually dented right by the raised body line of the car (a strong spot for sheet metal) I'm not an anal person but this dent was very noticeable. I looked over and someone's dodge neon was parked fairly close to my car and they live in my apartment building even though I don't know them. And sure enough, the paint matched. And being the super sleuth i am, the edge of their door had the paint wore off of it.
Well, I know they did it.
My car isn't perfect. It has other dings and even a spot of rust on the hood and hatch (minnesota). But it still bothers me, especially since it's a large ding. I left a note and took pictures of everything with my digi cam and told the person to call me. I guess I don't know what I am looking to get out of this. Do I ask for money? Do I say "bad bad human" and forget about it? What would you people suggest?
