I had a hydraulic hose start going bad and the clutch pedal got harder and harder until it wouldn't work at all! Turns out that when the hose from the clutch master cylinder to the slave cylinder goes bad internally the debris winds up in the slave cylinder. Cure was to replace or clean out the slave cylinder and of course replace the hose. Not sure if this is your problem but it's happened to me on 2 different C-900's! Dave
