Hi all,
My car bumped my friend's Jeep and I messed up the plastic frames that holds the lights but not the lights themselves. Now they're wobbling around in their frames. I taped them in with clear packing tape but I don't like this fix. The parts guy was closed since it's a holiday. I took the lights off of my dead 89' and I was about to put them in the 92' but it's too dark now. It looks like they're the same but . . . I just noticed the lenses of the 89' lights say 20V and the 92's say 18V. Does this refer to volts or something? Seems to me the bulbs themselves should decide things electrical and not the housings. Besides this the Hella parts # is the same.
So to make a long question short . . . if they fit should I used them or could something be wrong electrically or in terms of how they aim?
Thanks and sorry for the duration. Got to drive girlfriend who won't take a train up I95 tomorrow and I need light.
