Okay, went through Bentley & Townsend's site, no air leaks, no blown fuses, car get spark, must not be getting fuel. I jumped the sockets in the fuse box from 4 way flashers to fuel pump, and I could not hear the pump running ( I have bad hearing, I usually don't hear it running, but I assume I should feel vibrations if it was running) Wire continuity is good, sso I assume the fuel pump is bad. I checked the fuel pump relay with a good one from a running car, aand this did not solve the problem. I biggest fear is that I could not get any voltage readings at all at the pump with the jumper wire enabled. In any event the pump does not activaate the the ignition is switched on, so I'm 60% ssure that is the problem. Now howw do I get that stupid plastic ring off that holds the pump in? I tried rigging it, made a tool ( not strong enough). Any other suggestions?
