1). Replace ALL tune up parts-cap rotor and plugs-gap to right specs. 2). Before you do this, buy techron fuel system cleaner and dump the big black in a half tank of gas-do not follow instructions on bottle. Drive car until almost empty. What is best is to drive car as long as possible on freeway to burn all carbon out. Fill tank up again-no techron, drive and fill up car again w-lowest octane available before test. This is when you replace all tune up parts and oil. Techron at this concentrate will burn out all the carbon build up.
Make sure car has no vacuum leaks. Before test, make sure car is nice and hot. Do not drop car off, wait with car idleing. If possible, have them pre-test car. These are just some things to try after you get new amm and what not.
