Well, if you're doing the transplant, you'll need to do the whole thing, including the fusebox and everything in the engine bay. If you don't, you'll be adding and subtracting wires from the fusebox and the big '152' connectors on the firewall... NAs have absolutely different harnesses than Turbos, and are missing key bits, like wiring for APC and overboost etc. So, if you're commited to rewiring, do the whole thing.

Not rewiring will take a lot of work, but I think would be easily on the whole. The APC system is the easy part - that's like 6 very simple connections all of which exist in the engine bay save the pressure transducer, which you can easily run through the firewall or just stick in the engine bay anyway. :D It's the ignition system which will be somewhat difficult, because you'll need to "divorce" EZK and its wiring from the car and replace it with Hall-Effect. What I can tell you, however, is that installing simple turbo-style Hall-Effect ignition isn't really difficult - I did it on my '80 900T in an afternoon, and I spoke with a guy who did it on his 99T easily as well. On the whole, I know I would rather splice in the APC and Hall-Effect rather than rewire the whole car... Just the thought of removing an entire interior scares me... I removed all the wiring from an '85 900T 4-door once, and it took me more than a day. I installed APC & Hall-Effect & LH 2.2 in my '80 900T and it took me half a day, and required a lot fewer tools.

I guess the irony here is that I am trying to figure out what I need to do to put EZK in my '90 SPG, and you're trying to figure out how to remove it... heh... :)
