It may be the switch in the drivers door, or the control unit in the dash. It could also be wiring.
There is a 3 prong connector just ahead of the drivers door. Open the hood to follow the wires going into the door. It is prone to getting wet and the connections corrode. It carries juice from the switch in the drivers door to the control unit, which in turn controls the slave door locks in the passenger door and hatch (or reear doors in the case of a 4 door).
The trick will be to do a test at this connector when the door locks stops working. If you jump between the connectors and the door locks go up and down, then chances are it is the switch in the drivers door – If you jump the connectors and the door locks do not go up and down, then the problem is likely in the control unit under the dash, or other wiring connection problems.
Good luck,
PS – when testing door locks, do not lock and unlock door locks rapidly as this will overheat and can fry your control unit. Do it slowly.
